Podcast | Building the Front Office Platform of Tomorrow

SS&C Eze is excited to announce our inaugural podcast episode as we join SS&C Advent’s Tech it Up series – a monthly podcast featuring industry leaders and influencers discussing the latest in financial technology. Each episode offers fresh perspectives and thought-provoking conversations spanning the wealth, asset, and alternative management landscape.

Ready. Set. Go. Building the Front Office Platform of Tomorrow.

As the way investment managers do business has changed, order and execution management platforms have evolved to keep pace.

The OMS was created to track negotiated phone orders to improve paper-ticket recordkeeping. It wasn’t until later that buy-side firms saw the EMS as a way to facilitate faster electronic trading across multiple asset classes.

The evolution from then to now has been nothing short of astonishing. True OEMS platforms today act as a single source of truth for the front office. These platforms fully synchronize data across an EMS's advanced and automated trading tools with the robust allocation, modeling, rebalancing, and compliance engine of an OMS – all without needing to swivel back and forth between systems.

In our first podcast, Frank Matarese sits down with hosts Jasmin Conner and Trent Berry to discuss how he’s seen the OEMS landscape change, current market trends, and what SS&C Eze has been working on that will surely get users excited.
