EZE SOFTWARE GROUP
Tom Gavin, Chief Executive Officer, Eze Software Group
Tom has 15 years of experience at Eze Castle Software. He joined the Eze team in 1998 as Chief Operating Officer, and was named Chief Executive Officer in 2005. From 2006 until the creation of Eze Software Group in 2013, Tom also served as Executive Managing Director on the ConvergEx Group Executive Committee. He has been recognized by the Boston Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” distinction during his time at Eze. Prior to joining Eze, Tom worked for Treacy & Company, a boutique management consulting and principal investment firm in Boston. He holds a Bachelor’s of Art in History from Harvard University, where he graduated magna cum laude and was a Michael C. Rockefeller Memorial Fellow.
Andrew Borggaard, Chief Operating Officer, Eze Software Group
Andy oversees a number of shared services functions for Eze Software Group including many general and administrative functions such as legal, human resources, and corporate administration for the entire company. He also helps to oversee the firm’s corporate development efforts and serves as the chairman of the company’s capital committee.
Since joining Eze Castle Software in 2005, Andy has served in a number of roles, most recently as Chief Administrative Officer for all of ConvergEx. Before joining Eze, Andy was Deputy General Counsel for Genuity, Inc., and prior to this position served as an associate with the law firm of Ropes & Gray. He has also worked as a CPA and Tax Manager at Coopers & Lybrand. He graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting and received his Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School.
P. Cameron Hyzer, CFA, CFO & Treasurer, Eze Software Group
Cameron oversees all financial operations and planning for Eze Software Group.
Cameron has 8 years of experience at Eze Castle Software . He joined the Eze team in 2005 as the VP of Finance/CFO. From 2007 until the creation of Eze Software Group he served as Controller & Treasurer of ConvergEx, responsible for accounting, tax, and treasury functions across ConvergEx. Prior to joining Eze, Cameron held finance roles at various technology companies, including CFO of Benchmarking Partners, Interim CFO of Cramer Systems, and Acting VP of Finance at Thomson Financial. Cameron also worked as an investment banker at Broadview International (now part of Jefferies) and as a private equity investor at Broadview Capital Partners. He attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Economics from the Wharton School and a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering.
Chad Yohn, General Counsel and Secretary, Eze Software Group
Chad is responsible for Eze Software Group’s global legal and compliance matters and serves as corporate secretary.
Prior to the formation of Eze Software Group, Chad was an Associate General Counsel for ConvergEx with responsibility for the Investment Technologies segment, among other areas. In this role he has worked closely with Eze Castle Software since the launch of ConvergEx in 2006, and with RealTick since it was acquired by ConvergEx in 2010. Chad joined ConvergEx as part of the formation team from The Bank of New York. Previously, he worked as an associate at the law firms of Shearman & Sterling and Fish & Neave. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School
Daniel Rooney, President, Eze Software Group / RealTick EMS
Dan is responsible for managing and developing Eze Software Group’s RealTick EMS business.
Dan has more than 25 years of industry experience. He joined RealTick in 2011 as President of Business Development, and was promoted to run the RealTick EMS business in 2012. Before joining RealTick, Dan was Managing Director of Sales and Business Development for LiquidPoint. He has held leadership positions in business development, sales, and service at Reuters America and the Chicago Board of Trade. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance from Marquette University.
David Quinlan, Co-President, Eze Software Group / Eze OMS
David is responsible for managing and developing Eze Software Group’s Eze OMS business and oversees all Eze OMS teams with Co-President Jeff Shoreman. He also helps to oversee corporate development efforts for Eze Software Group.
David joined Eze Castle Software in 1999. David also served as Executive Managing Director on the ConvergEx Group Executive Committee from 2006 until the creation of Eze Software Group in 2013 and was Head of Strategy and Marketing for ConvergEx. David is a former trader and spent 12 years at Bridge Information Systems in various management positions, including Senior Vice President of Transaction Services. He is a member of the board of directors at Code Red Inc. and Riley Technologies. David holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance from Providence College. He is Series 7, 8 and 24 registered.
Jeffrey Shoreman, Co-President, Eze Software Group / Eze OMS
Jeff is responsible for managing and developing Eze Software Group’s Eze OMS business and oversees all Eze OMS teams with Co-President David Quinlan.
Jeff has over 14 years of experience at Eze Castle Software. He most recently served as COO from 2005 until 2012 and has held a number of leadership positions with the firm including CTO and head of West Coast operations. Jeff also served as Executive Managing Director on the ConvergEx Group Executive Committee from 2006 until the creation of Eze Software Group in 2013. Prior to joining the Eze team, Jeff worked for Andersen Consulting in their technology practice. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College, where he received a Bachelor’s of Art in Engineering and History.
Gerry Gualtieri, President, Eze Software Group / Tradar PMS
Gerry is responsible for managing and developing the Tradar PMS business and oversees the development of Eze Software Group's EMEA region.
Gerry has over 25 years of industry experience. He joined Tradar in 2009 as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining the Tradar PMS business, Gerry was MD of global sales at latency management specialist Corvil and served as the Chief Operating Officer at Fidessa LatentZero. Gerry also spent 11 years at Thomson Financial in a number of senior management roles, ending as the Commercial Director of the company’s Investment Management group.
